The neurosurgeon removed the drain tube from his head. He said the bruising has started to heal. There is nothing more he can do at this point. He was concerned about his lack of response. Mama told him that up until now we have been unable to talk to him or touch him. He does want interaction with him now. So please, if you visit start talking to him. It is now up to him as to when he wakes up.
We will not know the extent of his brain damage, if there is any, until he wakes up. The neurosurgeon did say the next step would be rehab once he became alert and begins interacting.

I really appreciate the updates. I am sure there are many others that are dropping in for the latest updates as well. I really wish the progress was faster, but as long as they are moving in the right direction that is what is important. I continue to pray for both Billy and Ron and of course their families. I also hope that people are taking a moment to donate. I know in a situation like this incomes are interrupted and any help would surely be greatly appreciated.

My husband went thru some similar things last year with the blood infection,ventilator,trach tube and the stomach tube,so I understand some of what you are going thru,my husband was given 2 hours to live,and then after he exceeded that it was determined that he would never walk or live a normal life,GOD HAD A DIFFERENT IDEA!!! A year later,he is walking,talking and is doing VERY well,going to churches giving his testimony,so know we are praying for you ALL DAILY! God has a plan!!
